Markus-Thompson Construction Inc. is a full-service concrete contractor working out of our office at 3838 Kathryn Ave in Springfield, Oregon. Our own crews form, pour and finish foundations and flatwork for the homes we build and for homeowners, builders and businesses across Eugene, Springfield and Lane County. We aim for quick, clean, quality work at competitive rates.
Concrete has been part of our work since 1976. Our crews are trained in forming and finishing concrete as well as framing.
Foundations
A good house starts with a foundation that is square, level and built to the plans. We build foundations for new homes, additions, ADUs, garages and shops. Because we also frame, the people pouring your foundation understand exactly what the framers need on top of it. Foundations are included in our panelized framing packages for owner-builders, and in every custom home we build.
Flatwork and decorative concrete
Our flatwork includes driveways, patios, walks and steps. We offer a range of finishes to suit the setting:

Stamped and colored concrete can give a patio or entry the look of stone or pavers in a single pour, while broom and exposed finishes are a durable, slip-resistant choice for drives and walks.

Concrete work depends on good preparation: solid subgrade, accurate forms and the right timing for finishing. Because our crews do this every week on our own projects, they show up prepared, work efficiently and leave the site clean. We do excavation, foundations, framing and finish work in house and manage trusted subcontractors for the rest, so you are not coordinating separate companies. You get a detailed fixed-cost budget up front, with costs tracked openly throughout.
